Sidekicks for Sight has been raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind since 1990. It's our goal to raise and socialize, healthy , happy dogs that go on to be trained as guide dogs. We are located in Douglas County, Colorado, just south of Denver.

 

 Malibu is a K-9 buddy!  Harold is in class!  Suzuki and Marjorie are now is phase #10!

Harold: Robyn's 2^nd Guide dog puppy, Harold, recently graduated with a blind person!!  Congratulations Robyn, Harold, and new partner!

Malibu: Krista H.'s 3^rd puppy, Malibu, was career changed recently.  However, being a K-9 Buddy seems to be just what Malibu needs!  She is being placed with a blind child as their pet dog!

Marjorie and Suzuki:  Marjorie, raised by Colette, and Suzuki, raised by Dru Anne, both returned to Oregon April 19.  We wish them both well and now the friends will look out for each other!

Cole and Mia: New puppies arrived 4/19/09!  Dru Anne received Cole, a female yellow lab and Sherry and Nick received Mia, a female black lab.  Congrats and welcome!!!

April 19: The raiser workshop and puppy truck had a very good attendence and saw club puppies Marjorie and Suzuki off, while new pups Cole and Mia arrive to learn the ropes.  We wish the Marjorie and Suzuki well and welcome Cole and Mia.

 

December 11:  Sidekicks annual Christmas dinner went great.  Good food, gifts and visiting!   Check Fun Page for pictures.

 

November 6: At a club meeting with Field Rep. Barb Deevers visiting, Sidekicks for Sight met Laddy, a K-9 buddy graduate.  Though Laddy's buddy, Robert, couldn't make the meeting we had a blast seeing Laddy and Lorene, Robert's mom.  Lorene gave us these pictures of Laddy and Robert relaxing at home.
